For one of our clients, we are looking for a Production Designer, remotely from the United States.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the packaging design and production process, collaborating with internal teams and external production vendors to ensure high-quality, accurate outputs. You will focus on creating production-ready dielines, managing color accuracy, and overseeing pre-press processes to ensure that designs are translated perfectly from concept to production. This position also includes working on high-fidelity product renders and supporting adaptive design needs for various marketing and sales initiatives.

Accountabilities:

  • Translate approved designs into production-ready dielines and mechanical files, ensuring adherence to print specifications.
  • Lead the review and approval of mechanicals within online proofing systems, ensuring all assets meet production standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, overseeing pre-press processes, proof reviews, and onsite press checks to ensure high-quality production.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve print production challenges by collaborating with stakeholders to maintain smooth workflows.
  • Oversee the creation and optimization of high-quality product and packaging renders for both internal and external use.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in packaging design or production design, preferably in CPG, food & beverage, or related industries.
  • Expertise in packaging mechanicals, dieline adaptation, and print production workflows.
  • Strong color management skills, including Pantone matching and press-side color approvals.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly in packaging and print design.
  • Familiarity with CGI render production workflows and vendor management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-volume environment with tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain creative integrity while solving technical challenges.
