Job Description
As the Social Media Manager & Content Creator, you will be responsible for managing our social media platforms, creating engaging content, and assisting with basic administrative tasks. You’ll be involved in video editing, creating newsletters, and managing the process from content creation to posting. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for social media, content creation, and attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Create, edit, and post engaging content (videos, images, newsletters, etc.) to boost brand visibility and audience engagement.
- Develop and execute social media campaigns that align with company goals.
- Monitor social media trends and adjust content strategies accordingly.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including organizing files, scheduling posts, and coordinating with team members.
- Track performance metrics and provide regular reports on social media engagement and growth.
- Respond to messages and interact with followers to maintain a strong online presence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Pay: $6-7/hr, DOE
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years experience in social media management and content creation.
- Strong skills in video editing and graphic design (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.). ● Ability to create compelling newsletters and blog posts.
- Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.). ● Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Basic administrative skills, including scheduling, organizing content calendars, and task management.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
