We are looking for a creative, responsible, and proactive Social Media Manager to help bring our vision to life through strategic social media marketing, content creation, and audience engagement. This role goes beyond just managing social media—it’s about storytelling, fostering genuine connections, and creating impactful content that resonates with our audience.

Role Overview

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing content across various social media platforms. This role is ideal for a storyteller who understands the balance between business, branding, and community engagement. You will work closely with the founder to craft engaging content that drives growth and strengthens our online presence.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Marketing & Engagement

  • Plan and schedule engaging posts across Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
  • Repurpose content for Pinterest & YouTube Shorts to maximize reach.
  • Engage with the audience through comments, messages, and community interactions.
  • Track post performance and provide strategy recommendations to enhance engagement and brand visibility.

Video Editing & YouTube

  • Edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
  • Trim and repurpose long-form video content for various social media platforms.
  • Optimize YouTube uploads, including titles, tags, and descriptions, to improve visibility and engagement.

Content & Campaign Management

  • Develop and schedule social media content that aligns with marketing goals.
  • Research and test strategies to improve content engagement and reach.
  • Assist in developing campaigns that enhance brand awareness and audience growth.

Collaboration & Strategy

  • Participate in regular strategy meetings to align on goals and performance metrics.
  • Provide updates and insights through Slack, Loom, or voice notes.

Pay: $5-6/hr, DOE

Requirements

  • A creative and passionate storyteller with a strong understanding of social media trends.
  • Experienced in social media marketing, video editing, and audience engagement.
  • A strong writer who can craft compelling captions and engaging content.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative and thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • A problem solver who finds solutions proactively rather than waiting for instructions.
  • Someone who values communication, honesty, and reliability.
