What You’ll Do
We're seeking an experienced Senior People Operations Specialist to join our growing team at Haus. In this role, you'll be a key partner in managing our HR tech stack and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. You'll work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Compliance owners to maintain operational excellence in all aspects of our people operations and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary owner of our HR technology ecosystem, overseeing implementation, integration, and optimizationLead compliance initiatives across multiple states and countries, staying current on changing regulationsPartner with Legal to develop and implement compliant HR policies and proceduresCollaborate with Finance on payroll operations, equity administration, and benefits accountingManage complex employment issues including leaves of absence, accommodations, and international jurisdictionsDesign and maintain documentation for key people processes and compliance requirementsConduct regular audits to ensure data integrity across all HR systemsSupport global mobility and immigration processes for international employeesCreate clear documentation and training to empower the broader People teamQualifications
7+ years of experience in People Operations or HR, with at least 3 years focusing on compliance and systemsDemonstrated expertise with HRIS platforms and HR technology integrationStrong knowledge of employment laws across multiple U.S. states and international jurisdictionsExperience partnering with Legal and Finance teams on complex compliance mattersExcellent project management skills and attention to detailStrong analytical abilities with experience in reporting and data analysisExceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex compliance topics clearlyWhat we offer:
