DevOps Engineer

Start.io is a leading mobile marketing and audience platform that empowers the app ecosystem through cutting-edge solutions in mobile marketing, audience building, and monetization. With direct integration into over 500,000 monthly active mobile apps, Start.io leverages global first-party data to unlock valuable insights, predict behaviours, and drive growth. 

We are looking for an experienced Intermediate DevOps to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of DevOps principles and have experience deploying and managing both cloud with gitOps approach. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as Prometheus, Thanos, Mimir, Grafana, k8s, ELK, Argocd, Argo workflow, Argo Events, Fluxcd Kafka, Redis, MongoDB, vault, consul, linked service-mesh and many more. Working on a multi-cloud approach using OCI and AWS cloud providers. 

Responsibilities:

• Build, and maintain production systems;
• Work with Start.io Engineering teams - Algo, R&D, Data and provide platform solutions;
• Work on very high-scale environments with thousands of nodes and hundreds of Billions of daily requests to the platform;
• Manage server and network infrastructure;
• Monitor and alert system performance and uptime;
• Automate deployments and processes;
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve them in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in DevOps engineering;
• Experience with deployment automation tools such as Helm, ArgoCD, Terraform, Ansible;
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker;
• Experience with Kubernetes;
• Experience with scripting languages such as Go, Python, Bash;
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, OCI, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure;
• Experience in industries such as gaming, ad tech, programmatic advertising, etc.

Will be a plus:

• Experience with container technology (dockers);
• Experience with Cloud technologies AWS / GCP / Azure / OCI etc;
• Experience managing databases such as Mongo, MySQL, Redis.

Additional info: 

• on-call shifts: 1 week each month;
• Whole DevOps team located in Israel.
