Senior DevOps Engineer for GlitchD

At GlitchD Labs, we're on a mission to expand the adoption and application of blockchain technology through our flagship products, the GlitchD ZkEVM, GlitchD Hyperchain Stack and GlitchD CDK. Designed to build a network of interconnected high performance blockchains (hyperchains) through innovating on the scalability, privacy, and interoperability for dApps through cutting edge infrastructure and management tools.

We are seeking a skilled Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, along with experience in system administration, automation, and cloud infrastructure. The role involves collaborating with development and operations teams to establish best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), enhance system reliability, and ensure the scalability of our applications.

As a Sr. DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, promoting a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and innovation. You will be responsible for building and maintaining infrastructure and deployment pipelines while ensuring high availability and performance across our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development process.
• Manage and automate deployment processes across development, testing, and production environments.
• Monitor system performance and optimize applications for maximum efficiency and reliability.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure effective code changes and quality control.
• Implement and manage cloud infrastructure services and resources.
• Troubleshoot, resolve and document operational issues in a timely manner.
• Make recommendations for improvements in system architecture, performance, and security.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support operational incidents as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration, including deployment, scaling, and managing clusters in production environments.
• Strong expertise in containerization technologies like Docker, including creating, managing, and optimizing Docker containers.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or ArgoCD.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Understanding of networking, security principles, and system monitoring tools.
