About the Position

The Creative Operations Manager will be responsible for managing creative workflows, ensuring seamless execution of projects, and overseeing the coordination of external talent for user-generated content (UGC) production. This role will work closely with creative, marketing, and operations teams to ensure deliverables are met with efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and skilled at balancing multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

This role reports to the Associate Director, Creative Operations. The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 per year.

💡 Schedule Note: This role is ideal for candidates available to work 12 PM – 8 PM ET / 9 AM – 5 PM PT to align with our operational needs.

Your Impact

Creative Project Coordination

  • You’ll manage creative tasks and projects, ensuring timely communication with internal teams and external partners while maintaining quality standards.
  • You’ll help support incoming creative requests, identifying potential issues and efficiently assigning tasks to the appropriate team members.

Talent & UGC Creator Management

  • You’ll source and recruit creators to produce user-generated content for social ad campaigns and other creative projects.
  • You’ll oversee the creator process, including screening, vetting, contract negotiation, and ongoing communication.
  • You’ll manage all talent-related documentation, ensuring agreements are properly executed and maintained.

Workflow & Process Optimization

  • You’ll assist in managing the creative queue, ensuring work is assigned and progressing efficiently.
  • You’ll develop and refine workflow processes to improve project efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.
  • You’ll ensure best practices are followed for key workflow systems (e.g., Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, Harvest).

Financial & Contract Management

  • You’ll oversee contract execution, ensuring compliance with agreements and smooth collaboration with freelancers and contractors.
  • You’ll assist with accounting and billing related to talent acquisition and management.

Requirements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing and/or coordinating the activities of a creative team, ideally in an agency or shared services environment.
  • Experience sourcing, recruiting, and managing UGC creators or freelance talent.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to define requirements, develop timelines, and manage dependencies.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard workflow tools such as Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, and Harvest.
  • Understanding of contract management and industry best practices for creative and talent agreements.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to set clear expectations and lead productive conversations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in creative or design is a plus, as this role requires identifying missing assets, ensuring creative consistency, and effectively collaborating with designers and content creators
  • Experience working with UGC talent and social media creators.
  • Knowledge of standard industry contracts and documentation.
  • General understanding of accounting and billing processes related to creative operations.
