Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Global Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong analytical abilities, financial acumen, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. This role involves modeling financials, analyzing business data, and delivering insightful presentations to support strategic decision-making on a global scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business planning and strategy.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and business operations to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling PowerPoint presentations to the leadership and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as required to support strategic decision-making.
  • Travel may be required from time to time.

Requirements

Knowledge and Attributes:

  • Financial Analysis: Proficiency in financial statements, ratios, and metrics.
  • Financial Modeling: Expertise in building and interpreting complex financial models to forecast financial performance and scenarios.
  • Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software to analyze financial data and trends.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in analyzing financial data, ensuring accuracy, and identifying discrepancies.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
  • Strong financial modeling skills with a deep understanding of financial statements and metrics.
  • Excellent PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and impactful presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present findings to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, fast-paced environment.
