The Financial Planning & Analysis team at StackAdapt is responsible for partnering with functional leaders across the organization to support our strategic objectives. The team plays a pivotal role in the organization by equipping our business partners with insights and analysis from a financial lens.
Reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, this role will work closely with StackAdapt’s Engineering and Advertising Technologies teams to support the company’s financial forecasting, long range planning, reporting and analysis efforts.
StackAdapt is a Remote First company. We are open to candidates located anywhere in the United States or Canada for this position.
What you'll be doing:
Be the finance business partner to our senior leadership team including the SVP of Advertising Technology and Chief Technology Officer
Full P&L management for our Engineering and Advertising Technologies organization, analyzing monthly and yearly financial results, identifying trends and significant variances, and providing actionable recommendations to our Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors
Lead preparation of the annual operating plan and forecasts for our Engineering and Advertising Technologies team
Provide data-driven ROI recommendations, identifying investments and trade-offs to support the launch of new products and solutions and other ad-hoc analysis as required
Support the development and measurement of quarterly product financial metrics and KPIs, partnering closely with Product Leadership
Partner with senior leadership to develop long-term financial plans and forecasts that align with strategic objectives
Support enhancement initiatives within our finance organization, from process optimization to software integrations
What you’ll bring to the table:
Proven track record in a mature FP&A environment, specifically with experience building models and extracting actionable insights from large data sets
Experience fostering relationships with product and engineering teams in a technology driven organization
5+ years of relevant experience, including supervisory responsibilities
Ability to communicate effectively to business partners across multiple functions
Advanced proficiency in Excel; Google Sheets experience
Curiosity in learning new systems (ERP, Data visualization, FP&A software)
Experience in technology organizations an asset
Ability to work collaboratively while managing multiple deliverables
