Over the past 20+ years, GPRS has delivered enrollment results across more than 60 colleges and universities, and for more than 150 graduate programs. We’ve built a national reputation around our enrollment marketing services, as well as our proprietary lead analysis and benchmarking platform – GP Insights(TM).

Summary

GPRS is looking for an experienced (freelance) Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing organic marketing campaigns for GPRS directly, aiming to promote brand awareness, generate leads, and most importantly - drive sales. This is a hands on role, not just a strategic one. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for analyzing trends, developing the marketing strategy, executing the campaigns - and measuring results. Our initial need is for 10 hours per week, which could grow based upon the success of the initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a clearly laid out marketing/lead generation plan with a heavy emphasis on organic tactics such as email marketing, social media marketing, SEO, calling campaigns (leveraging our call center), and expanding our website
  • Launch, manage and optimize the marketing campaigns
  • Enhance our targeted prospect database, and continue to manage/cleanse the contact data as it grows
  • Recommend new tools/technologies to advance our marketing plan - preferably leveraging A.I. and machine learning
  • Develop a thoughtful nurture strategy that adequately supports long-term prospect decision-making
  • Measure, and regularly report on campaign results, as well as sharing insights and recommendations
  • Responsible for managing successful handoff of qualified leads to the business development team

Requirements

Professional Experience/Required Skills·

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • 5+ years experience managing marketing strategy and execution for a professional services-based business
  • Proven success in developing marketing plans and campaigns
  • Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
  • Proficiency with online marketing, SEO, social media strategy
  • Excellent writing, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills and a sharp attention to detail
  • Experience working for a college or university, or a firm supporting higher education clients, is a plus
