For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager, remotely from the United Kingdom.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering key projects from inception to completion. This includes managing a variety of projects such as customer-facing application changes and internal initiatives related to infrastructure and information security. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders both internally and externally, guiding them through the project lifecycle while ensuring timely and effective communication. Your expertise in project management methodologies, leadership, and proactive problem-solving will help drive the success of critical initiatives.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage multiple projects with varying scopes, ensuring that all milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
  • Lead senior stakeholders through project milestones, ensuring alignment and managing expectations throughout the process.
  • Ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization to facilitate successful project outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, offering coaching and support when necessary.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, offering solutions to potential challenges before they impact the project.
  • Deliver project updates and progress reports to senior management and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience in software development practices, IT/Operations project delivery, and customer project management.
  • Proficiency with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects from initiation to release.
  • Experience with project management accreditation is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholder relationships and expectations.
  • Leadership skills, with experience in coaching and performance management.
  • Resilience and a proactive approach to solving challenges and managing escalations.
