The Project Manager is focused on supporting the Zero-Emission School Bus & Infrastructure incentive program (ZESBI). Responsibilities include the efficient processing and management of ZESBI vouchers, ensuring data accuracy across multiple sources & systems, and complying with state agency and company policies. The ZESBI Project Manager must exhibit excellent emotional intelligence (EQ) while managing multiple internal and external stakeholders (e.g., School District applicants, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)) to quickly resolve voucher discrepancies. Additionally, this role will require critical thinking in the development of broader voucher processing application flows, building and creating new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
What You Will Be Doing:
Process ZESBI Vouchers (1,000+ school bus and infrastructure, $500M program)
Responsible for editing and completing the ZESBI Voucher Processing Handbook
Building and creating new standard operating procedures (SOPs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Identifying and submitting backend system (Salesforce) process improvement recommendations
Daily correspondence with applicants via email, phone, or video
What You Bring to the Table:
2-3 years of experience in Business administration, finance, accounting, environmental science, or data entry
1-3 years working with multiple stakeholder groups on joint projects
1-2 years as initiative owner self-directing work and tasks as functional project lead
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, environmental science, or a related field preferred.
Ability to comfortably work independently with minimal oversight
Experience managing multiple tasks and associated stakeholders simultaneously (Stakeholder management)
Proficiency in program management tools including Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint).
