Expert product owner

Job Description

We currently have a vacancy for an Expert product owner fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will work remotely. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team.

Your tasks:

• Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement;
• Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance;
• Works within the agile process;
• Interacts and validates requirements with the business;
• Propose solutions by combining IT tools and business process refactoring or improvements based on an in-depth understanding of a specific business domain;
• Creates user stories and acceptance tests from themes and features granular enough for a single sprint;
• Participates to retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos and other Scrum-related meetings;
• May perform the role of Scrum master.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with a minimum of 13 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• At least 5 years of experience in System / Data / process modelling (UML & BPMN);
• At least 3 years of experience in Weblogic, or other JEE container, program or project management;
• Experience as Agile Scrum Master;
• Good knowledge of Middleware systems (e.g. Weblogic Application Server, Oracle Service Bus);
• Good knowledge of messaging services and platforms (e.g. Java Message Service, Apache Kafka);
• Good knowledge of JEE;
• Knowledge of RDBMS;
• Knowledge of Jira and Atlassian suite;
• Following certifications would be considered an advantage: Program Management, Agile, SAFE;
• Excellent command of the English language, French would be an advantage.
