For one of our clients, we are looking for a Product Owner - Insurance, working remotely from Warsaw, Masovian Voivodeship, Poland.

As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for shaping the future of a core health insurance system, specifically focusing on policy servicing. You will work closely with stakeholders and development teams to define product features, refine requirements, and drive impactful solutions that align with industry needs. This role requires strong collaboration, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of both user needs and regulatory compliance. You will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, market-driven solutions while maintaining a structured and agile development process.

Accountabilities:

• Define and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value, market trends, and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into clear, actionable user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
• Act as the primary liaison between development teams and business units to ensure seamless execution and alignment with strategic goals.
• Guide product development with deep domain expertise in health insurance and policy servicing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Drive Agile processes, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to keep teams focused and productive.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and market research to optimize product performance and innovation.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, advocating for customer needs throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, with at least 3 years in insurtech or health insurance systems.
• Proven success in managing end-to-end product development in multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong understanding of health insurance products, policy servicing, and regulatory compliance.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, backlog management, and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with distributed teams.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions to enhance product performance.
• Experience with UX/UI principles and collaboration with design teams.
• Familiarity with remote collaboration tools like Slack, Miro, and Figma.
