Cloud Security Engineer IV

Job Summary: As our Cloud Security Engineer IV you’ll be responsible for the planning and execution ​
of the security solution strategy of our recently approved Rackspace security solution using Prisma Cloud. 
 
Work Location: US Remote


Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement organization's cloud security strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of cloud security architecture.
  • Support development and execution of cloud security implementation strategy within organization's existing IT infrastructure.
  • Work with stakeholders across organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions.
  • Adhere to company security policies and procedures and any other relevant policies and standards as directed.
  • Administer the CSPM, DSPM, and Identity Management Platform.
  • Provide Reporting to internal and external customers.
  • Manage Configuration Settings of the platform based on customer requirements.
  • Tune CSPM Platform Rules and Alerts.
  • Create, Update, and Decommission Documentation for Internal and External Customers.
  • Configure and Maintain integrations with other platforms.
  • Coordinate with Internal and External customers to provide security data.
  • Provide Support and assistance to internal and external customers leveraging platforms.

  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or a related field. Additional experience may substitute.
  • 7 or more years of related.
  • Experience with Palo Alto Prisma Cloud or other CSPM platform(s).
  • Familiarity with container technologies (I.E. Kubernetes) and container security.
  • Knowledge of Application Security (Attacks, Defense, Detection, Countermeasures).
  • Knowledge and Experience with APIs.
  • Knowledge of SIEM engineering.
  • Knowledge of OS exploits, malware, ransomware, and their defenses.
  • Knowledge of multi-cloud security architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management.
  • Automation and Scripting Experience preferred.
