As Trustly’s Director, Product Management – Growth, you will spearhead a dedicated cross-functional growth team that focuses on accelerating user adoption and engagement across our consumer-facing payment products. Your primary goal is to drive experimentation, refine user flows, and unlock data-driven insights that directly impact our active consumer metrics. By collaborating with diverse stakeholders—Marketing, Data, UX, Engineering, and more—you’ll ensure that we continuously improve our products, reduce friction in the checkout process, and boost long-term consumer loyalty.
We’re seeking someone passionate about fast-paced experimentation, funnel optimization, and consumer-centric innovation who can help us remain at the forefront of the evolving fintech landscape.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
On the Product team, our mission is to deliver cutting-edge payment technology with seamless user experiences. This role reports initially to the CPO and will work closely with a newly formed Growth Team encompassing Marketing, Data Analytics, UX, and Front-End Engineering. You’ll also partner with Risk, Compliance, Sales, and other internal stakeholders to ensure that every experiment and improvement is both innovative and compliant with industry standards.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own the Growth Strategy: Define the overarching growth roadmap and set measurable objectives focused on active consumer adoption, retention, and revenue impact. Champion experimentation and A/B testing across the product suite.
Lead Cross-Functional Growth Team: Coordinate with Marketing, UX, Data, and Engineering to execute rapid tests, gather insights, and drive continuous optimization. Maintain a fast feedback loop to iterate quickly on promising ideas.
Data-Driven Decision-Making: Establish and track key growth metrics (activation, conversion, retention, etc.) to measure impact. Use analytics to identify friction points in the user journey and propose evidence-based solutions.
Product & Funnel Optimization: Collaborate with UX to refine consumer flows and reduce checkout barriers. Develop product improvements that enhance the end-to-end payment experience for higher conversion.
Stakeholder Alignment: Work with Sales, Merchant Success (and our merchants), Risk, and Compliance to ensure growth experiments comply with regulations and maintain Trustly’s security standards and merchant agreements. Communicate roadmap updates, experiment results, and new insights to senior leadership on a regular cadence.
Innovation & Consumer Focus: Stay ahead of fintech/payment trends, competitor movements and consumer behaviors to inform novel growth initiatives. Advocate for continuous product evolution by championing user needs and behaviors.
Mentorship & Leadership: Provide direction and mentorship to other product managers to encourage their own experimentation and cross-functional partners. Help lead the development of our metric tracking and AB testing processes and set the standard for how we run experimentation across product management. Promote a growth mindset, where data, curiosity, and consumer empathy guide decision-making.
