Financial Analyst

Job Description

  • Play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, providing insights, and supporting strategic decision-making processes within HSO
  • Be responsible for evaluating financial performance, forecasting future trends, and developing financial models to help optimize HSO business operations
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis by examining financial data, identifying trends, and assessing performance against key metrics
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis to support strategic decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts
  • Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, identify variances, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to assess the financial impact of business decisions, investments, and potential scenarios, analyzing different scenarios to evaluate risks and opportunities
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, to senior management
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to provide financial insights and support their decision-making processes
  • Support internal and external audits, provide necessary documentation, and address any audit findings
  • Implement best practices and contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of three years of experience as a Financial Analyst, preferably within a technology or professional services company
  • Strong understanding and demonstrated experience working with financial modeling, reporting, and analysis techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong business acumen and ability to research internal financial trending and translate data into meaningful insights
  • Exceptional and responsive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity
