As one of our first Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll play a foundational role in driving our outbound sales strategy. You won’t just be generating and qualifying leads—you’ll be building the blueprint for our SDR function as we scale.

We’re looking for a self-starter who is intrinsically motivated to own, refine, and expand our outbound sales process. What You’ll Do

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Research and identify high-potential prospects across multiple industry verticals using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo, and more.
  • Develop and execute outbound strategies—including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling—to generate high-value business opportunities.
  • Qualify leads based on fit, interest, and potential value to build a high-quality sales pipeline.

Pipeline Development & Management

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of engaged prospects through strategic outreach and follow-ups.
  • Track all prospecting activities in our CRM (Attio) to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Work closely with the sales team to optimize lead handoff and improve conversion rates.

Scaling the SDR Function

  • Define best practices and processes to scale outbound sales efficiently.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop hiring and expansion plans for the SDR team.
  • Help recruit, train, and mentor new SDRs as the team grows.

Market & Industry Insights

  • Stay up to date with trends in media, advertising, and digital marketing to inform and tailor outreach strategies.
  • Identify new markets and segments with untapped potential.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Partner with the Director of Partnerships (Australia-based) and the wider sales team to align on strategy and execution.
  • Report on key metrics, including lead conversion rates, outbound efficiency, and pipeline health.

Continuously refine outreach techniques based on real-time feedback and data-driven insights.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Background

  • 3+ years of experience in an SDR, lead generation, or outbound prospecting role.
  • Proven success in building and scaling outbound pipelines in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience in media, advertising, or tech-related businesses is strongly preferred.

Skills & Tools

  • Proficiency with prospecting tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo, Outreach, and CRM platforms like Salesforce or Attio.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers.
  • Ability to clearly articulate the value proposition of media and advertising solutions to potential partners.
