We are experiencing exponential growth and are seeking a highly skilled SEO Content Manager to help support the growth of organic traffic and revenue by managing content production and the editorial staff.

The SEO Content Manager, reporting directly to the Director of SEO, will play a key role in driving organic traffic and revenue growth for SmartFinancial.com. This position involves managing the production of SEO content and leading the editorial team. The manager will oversee the content creation process from start to finish, maintaining the editorial calendar, and ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met. Additionally, the role requires improving content quality through innovation, research, and adherence to departmental expectations and standards.

What You'll Do

• Manage the SEO editorial staff
• Manage the production of SEO content
• Support the growth of organic traffic and revenue of SmartFinancial.com
• Manage the Editorial Calendar and ensure deadlines are met
• Edit, Fact Check and Provide Final Approval of Content for Publish
• Publish articles through the CMS
• Provide training / mentorship to editorial staff
• Content strategy and planning
• Ensure the content produced meets quality standards
• Help improve the quality of content and the overall product through research and innovation
• Write / Edit content for SmartFinancial.com

What We’re Looking For

• Undergraduate degree with relevant coursework (English, Communications, Marketing, etc.)
• 3-5 years work experience writing/editing digital content
• 1-2 years managing people
• Strong Understanding of how to produce SEO content from start to finish
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and manage projects
• Ability to consistently hit deadlines
• Strong self starter who can work independently and remotely without supervision
