Generalist Project Manager

Job Description

FREEDOM FINANCE TECHNOLOGIES is a Cyprus-based fintech company and part of the international financial holding Freedom Finance. We develop and maintain trading and banking IT products, as well as the holding’s IT infrastructure worldwide.  

Our team currently consists of 170 professionals.  Over the past three years, we have grown fourfold and continue to actively expand our team.  

Since 2009, we have been developing our core product - a trading system for brokerage operations in the stock market.  

More than 700,000 users across 41 countries use our applications. 

We are looking for a proactive Generalist Project Manager with a technical background, ideally in QA or System Analysis, to join Freedom Banker. 

You will work with a distributed team across Cyprus, Europe, and Kazakhstan.  

Please note: this position is open to candidates located in any country within approximately up to 3 hours east and up to 1 hour west of Cyprus. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Triage incoming requests from Support, QA, and business stakeholders. 

• Conduct independent technical investigations before escalation, including reviewing server logs and reproducing scenarios. 

• Break down tasks and prepare clear written specifications for engineers. 

• Own tasks end-to-end, driving them through to release. 

• Monitor task statuses and maintain communication with stakeholders. 

• Collaborate closely with a distributed development team, QA, and first-line administrators. 

Requirements

• 4+ years of Project Management or Delivery experience in fintech or banking. 

• Strong technical troubleshooting skills, including log analysis and issue reproduction. 

• Ability to investigate issues independently before escalating them. 

• Ability to write clear and structured task specifications. 

• Russian proficiency is mandatory. 

Nice to Have 

• Experience with payment rails, including SWIFT, card processing, or core banking systems. 

• English proficiency. 

• Experience working in regulatory environments across Central Asia, the CIS, or the EU. 

• Experience in crypto.
