Compensation Snapshot

Employment Type: Independent Contractor

Location: Fully Remote

Time Commitment: Full-Time

Monthly Base Compensation

USD $1,500–$2,200 per month, depending on experience, UX leadership capability, portfolio quality, AI proficiency, and overall alignment with the role.

Performance Incentives

About the Role

As our Principal Product Designer, you'll lead UX and UI strategy across multiple digital products while partnering closely with Product Management, Engineering, AI, Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership.

You'll own the complete product design lifecycle—from discovery and research through wireframes, prototypes, user testing, high-fidelity design, developer handoff, and post-launch optimization.

This is an AI-first product leadership role.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

We're looking for an exceptional senior product designer with outstanding strategic thinking and execution capability.

You should have:

• 7+ years of professional UX/UI or Product Design experience.
• A portfolio demonstrating world-class digital product design across web and mobile platforms.
• Strong experience designing complex SaaS, AI, HealthTech, EdTech, or enterprise applications.
• Expertise using Figma and modern product design workflows.
• Strong understanding of information architecture, interaction design, accessibility, responsive design, and design systems.
• Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Outstanding presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently within a fully remote environment.

AI-First Product Design Experience

We're specifically looking for designers who actively use AI to improve product quality and design efficiency.

Experience using AI for:

• UX research
• Persona development
• Journey mapping
• Interface generation
• UX writing
• Wireframing

• Design QA
• Product documentation
