Our partner is a profitable, fast-growing modern tax platform for venture-backed companies, serving over 1,300 customers including some of the most recognized names in tech. They are a tech-enabled service powered by a team of CPAs and AI on the backend. The business has grown 5X in the past seven months, runs two-day deal cycles with roughly 68% win rates, and is built by a team with backgrounds at leading fintech, Big Four, and the IRS. With a near-term path to a liquidity event, this is the earliest innings of what the team believes is a billion-dollar company.
This is a Business Development Representative role with an unusually clear and fast path to Account Executive, often within a year and typically under 18 months for strong performers. You will join an early sales team where you can set the foundation for the broader sales motion and wear many hats. The current playbook centers on sourcing, email, and LinkedIn outreach, with systems in place and a growing emphasis on building automated, GTM-engineering-style workflows rather than purely manual outbound. There is unlimited room to grow into adjacent functions like growth, marketing, or partnerships as the business expands.
