Own SEO for US moving industry clients. Strategic work, full independence, no micromanagement.

Up to $4,000/month + bonuses | Full-time | CET

We're Rotate Digital, a premium marketing agency serving the US moving industry exclusively over the last 5-6 years and are now expanding into other industries. We have built a strong in-house capability across SEO, web development, guest posts and outreach. We're a 53-person remote company spread across 20 countries.

We've experienced crazy growth over the last few years and this year is shaping to be no different. We currently have 10 SEO specialists split into three pods, each supported by experienced pod leads and an in-house Head of SEO. We treat contractors like full-time team members - you'll be paid twice monthly, with unlimited PTO, no time tracking, and no invoicing required. We hire grown-ups to do grown-up work. 

We expect high ownership in return, but if you thrive with independence and genuinely care about client outcomes, you'll fit right in.We're looking for an SEO Specialist to independently own client accounts and drive real results.

You'll be a strategic partner, not just a task executor. We need someone who understands SEO at its core - someone whose experience predates the AI era and who can think critically about our products and processes.

In this role, you will:

📋 Execute the SEO process and deliver monthly work on time with quality

💡 Drive local SEO initiatives focused on the map pack and quality traffic

🤝 Collaborate closely with in-house developers, outreach and client success teams

💻 Own client outcomes without micromanagement or hand-holding

📊 Challenge existing tools, processes and product decisions constructively

✏️ Manage multiple client accounts within a pod structure

📞 Keep clients' visibility on Google search growing month after month

This is a full-time, unlimited contract role. Core collaboration happens during European daytime hours, with SEO team meetings usually around 1-2pm CET. You'll have substantial flexibility to set your own schedule once settled. We ask that you stay available on Slack until roughly 11 pm CET / 5 pm EST for occasional urgent updates - but this isn't a US shift, and you're not expected to actively work those hours.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you need:

✅ At least 4 years of experience as an SEO specialist, ideally 5+ years

✅ At least one year of experience working in an agency managing multiple client accounts

✅ Strong local SEO capability, ideally within service-based businesses

✅ Prior experience working with US-based companies in the US market

✅ Ability to independently own client accounts and deliver results on time

✅ Strategic thinking skills - you can challenge processes and offer solutions

✅ Strong written English and understanding of US client expectations

Brownie points for:

⭐ Experience in US home service industries like: HVAC, Roofing, Plumbing, Legal, Moving, etc.

⭐ Agency experience managing multiple accounts at scale

⭐ Location in Europe, particularly the Balkans (better timezone fit)

⭐ Experience with local SEO at scale

The ideal candidate is a self-directed senior operator. Someone comfortable with freedom who doesn't need frequent check-ins or step-by-step direction. 

You take care of clients independently, proactively flag weaknesses, and give honest feedback. You align with our core values: driven to win, accountable for outcomes, operating with integrity, and putting humans first. Results matter, but people aren't expendable.
