Our first project is a cooperative open-world sim, designed to foster connection, problem-solving, and shared discovery. Our team spans the US, the UK, and beyond. We are taking a fully remote approach, but have regular in-person meetups to synchronise, huddle and build our culture.
Astrid is seeking an experienced Senior UI / Gameplay Systems Engineer to join our small and thoughtful team as we push the boundaries in gaming and IP, offering fans new meaningful worlds and experiences.
We are looking for an experienced engineer with a strong focus on UI and gameplay systems, having built player-facing features within Unreal Engine 5 using Blueprint and C++, and with extensive experience building UIs in UMG — ideally with CommonUI. You are comfortable working within and extending established gameplay architectures, and you care about delivering intuitive experiences that support core game flows and gameplay systems.
This is a remote position on a fully distributed team.
