You will work closely with our IT team to implement and maintain security measures, as well as monitor and respond to any potential security breaches.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information and systems.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvements.
• Monitor network traffic and system logs for any suspicious activity and take appropriate action to mitigate potential threats.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest cybersecurity trends and best practices to proactively identify and address potential risks.
• Work closely with our IT team to implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption tools.
• Respond to and investigate any security incidents, and develop and implement remediation plans.
• Conduct employee training and awareness programs to educate staff on cybersecurity best practices.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
• Experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a plus.
