Business Development Representative

Job Description

The Business Development Representative will be instrumental in driving our growth by providing comprehensive support to the business development and franchise sales teams. Responsibilities will include lead generation, social media management, and direct client interactions. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive professional who excels in a virtual setting and is passionate about business development, social media engagement, and B2B sales. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a keen eye for identifying opportunities, and the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management and Engagement:
    • Develop and execute content strategies on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram for franchise and sales outreach, ensuring brand consistency.
    • Manage the CEO's personal branding on social media by posting, responding, and engaging with relevant content.
    • Engage with franchise brokers, LinkedIn groups, and other online communities to build visibility and foster connections.
  • Lead Generation and Sales Support:
    • Use tools like ActiveCampaign, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Dripify.io for lead generation, appointment scheduling, and sales outreach.
    • Conduct outreach campaigns, including drafting emails, following up, and tracking responses.
    • Develop and maintain drip campaigns, newsletters, and other nurture content to engage prospects.
    • Support the VP of Franchise Development with personalized outreach and lead nurturing activities.
  • Client and Market Research:
    • Conduct research on potential clients, markets, and franchise brokers to identify new opportunities.
    • Perform market analysis to uncover trends that inform our business development strategy.
  • Content Creation:
    • Create short- and medium-form blog posts, articles, and newsletters for the franchise sales website.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging.
  • Administrative and CRM Management:
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings with prospective clients and franchisees.
    • Maintain and update the CRM, ensuring accurate and current data.
    • Track and analyze key social media and sales metrics to refine outreach strategies.
    • Provide administrative support to the CEO and VP of Operations, including coordinating marketing efforts and preparing presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Sales Documentation and Proposals:
    • Assist in preparing presentations and materials for client meetings, proposals, and contracts.
    • Help create engaging, brand-aligned content for social media and email campaigns.

Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years in a business development, sales, or marketing role, preferably in a virtual setting.
    • Experience in social media management and B2B sales preferred.
    • Proficient in ActiveCampaign, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other similar tools
    • Familiarity with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe tools.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills for client outreach and engagement.
    • Ability to create consistent, engaging content for social media.
    • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a remote team.
