About Role:
We’re looking for a resourceful and proactive recruiter to head all our recruitment related initiatives and activities for the start-up Software companies under the PartnerOne umbrella. Working with each departments' assigned hiring manager you will determine the ideal profile required to fulfill each position. You will be responsible for assessing the company’s overall recruitment needs and evaluating the resources necessary to fulfill them. This is a great opportunity for an experienced recruiter looking to take on a wider scope of tasks, in a leadership role.


Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Take ownership and manage all recruitment related activities and initiatives
  • Take on full-cycle recruitment process and onboarding
  • Work with the managers to identify the ideal candidate profile for ever role, update requirements and job posting as required
  • Source both active and passive candidates through different channels (job boards, LinkedIn, social media, headhunting) with the intent of identifying, and recruiting the best talent
  • Be the main point of contact for hiring Managers, candidates, and third-party recruiting related services
  • Conduct background and reference checks
  • Negotiate and prepare offers of employment and all other associated documentation
  • Follow up with candidate regardless of outcome and ensure candidates maintain a favorable impression of the company
  • Keep track of all new hires and other such important information which can help assess future needs
  • Assist employees with HR, Payroll and Benefit inquiries
  • Stay current with payroll regulations, standards, and work methods (Canada & US)
  • Provide administrative support to the executive leadership team when necessary
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of recruiting experience
  • Experience hiring technical roles in the technology and software industry
  • Experience with global hiring
  • Detail-oriented individual who is not afraid of taking initiatives
  • Innovative ideas and approaches for Talent Acquisition
  • Experience using social media, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social recruiting platforms, and sourcing mechanisms such as job boards, company cold calling, headhunting, and others, to identify candidates
  • Maturity and demonstrated professionalism with the ability to handle sensitive situations and confidential information
  • Strong time management and organization skills; exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong communications, analytical, and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to proactively work with hiring managers to drive the recruitment process
  • Bilingual is ideal, but must have an excellent command of written and spoken English

  • Experience using Workable a plus but not necessary
