Job Summary

We are seeking a high-energy, entrepreneurial Founding Business Development Representative to serve as the cornerstone of our top-of-funnel engine. As the first dedicated sales hire, you won’t just be executing a playbook—you will be writing it. You will work directly with the leadership team to identify target markets, test messaging, and establish the outreach infrastructure that will scale this company from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to bridge the gap between sales and strategy in a fast-paced startup environment where your impact is visible on day one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute multi-channel outbound sequences (email, phone, LinkedIn) to generate a high-quality pipeline.
  • Partner with founders to define our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and iterate on value propositions.
  • Qualify inbound leads and conduct discovery calls to understand prospect pain points and business needs.
  • Manage and optimize the sales tech stack, ensuring clean data and efficient workflows.
  • Provide continuous feedback from the front lines to the product and marketing teams to influence the roadmap.
  • Build and document the "Founding SDR Playbook" to facilitate future team expansion.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative within an early stage startup.
  • Experience as a "Founding" SDR or as one of the first five hires on a sales team, demonstrating the ability to build processes from scratch.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding quotas in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical value propositions.
  • Deep curiosity and a "builder" mindset—you are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in an evolving environment.
  • Direct experience selling AI-driven software or highly technical platforms.
  • Past involvement in the Tech/SaaS space specifically focused on emerging technologies.
  • Experience with advanced sales automation tools and CRM management (Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo, Outreach).
