Job Description

Solance is building a new kind of financial services platform for complex corporates across Europe.

As we prepare for our Q3 2026 launch and EMI authorisation, we’re looking for an experienced Slack specialist to design and implement our collaboration infrastructure from the ground up.

This is not a simple Slack setup project.

We need someone who understands how to architect communication environments for fast-moving, regulated fintech companies — balancing usability, governance, automation, access control, and operational scalability from day one.

You’ll own the design and implementation of our Slack workspace, integrations, workflows, onboarding structure, and documentation standards across Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations.

What You'll Deliver

  • Channel Architecture & Setup Design and build a channel structure aligned to our functional teams, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations, with appropriate permissions, naming conventions, and access controls baked in.
  • Tool Integrations : Connect our core stack into Slack; PagerDuty, Monday.com, Sumo Logic, AWS , among others. Configure alerting, notifications, and workflows that route the right signals to the right people without creating noise.
  • Workflow Automation: Set up basic automations and workflows to streamline recurring processes and reduce manual overhead for the team.
  • Onboarding & Access Management : Add team members, configure permissions, and set up a repeatable onboarding flow so future hires can be onboarded cleanly.
  • Documentation : Deliver clear, maintainable documentation so our internal team can run, extend, and audit the workspace after handover.

Why This Role Matters

We will be operating in the highly regulated European financial services environment. We're not asking you to run a compliance audit, but we are asking you to bring the experience of someone who's worked in regulated industries before. You should naturally think about data governance, audit logging, and why least-privilege access matters when designing workspace architecture.

Requirements

Required Experience

  • Proven track record setting up and configuring Slack workspaces end-to-end.
  • Hands-on experience working with fintech, payments, banking, or other regulated financial services companies.
  • Direct experience integrating at least one of: PagerDuty, Monday.com, Sumo Logic, or AWS with Slack.
  • Strong written communication, you can explain your reasoning, not just your actions.
  • A consultative mindset, you ask sharp questions about our use cases instead of working off a generic checklist.

How to Apply

Submit a cover letter with a fixed-price proposal including:

  • Total fixed fee for the full scope of work
  • Fixed delivery date: your committed completion date based on a 2-week engagement window
  • Brief outline of your approach: how you'd structure the engagement, key milestones, and what you'd want to clarify upfront
  • Relevant fintech/regulated industry experience: specific examples of similar workspaces you've built
  • Tooling experience: Which of our integrations (PagerDuty, Monday.com, Sumo Logic, AWS) have you worked with and in what context

We're evaluating proposals on the quality of thinking as much as price. The best proposal isn't necessarily the cheapest; it's the one that makes us confident you'll deliver cleanly and on time.

Ready to build something that lasts? Send your proposal, and let's talk.
