Job Description

The Role
Own the product strategy and execution for Tala’s embedded lending partnerships globally. You will assess which opportunities are worth pursuing, design the right credit solution for each partner context, shape commercial deals from a product perspective, and lead launches end to end. Working in close collaboration with the GTM team, you are the product voice in partner conversations and the person responsible for what gets built, launched, and grown.

What You'll Do
  • Evolve the framework for evaluating partner opportunities and work with the GTM team to prioritize the pipeline accordingly
  • Participate in commercial discussions to define what Tala can build, shape data and integration terms, and ensure deal structure supports the right product outcomes
  • Design the credit product configuration for each partnership and lead the end-to-end build and launch, from API and integration specs through pilot design, cross-functional execution, and first-cycle review
  • Own post-launch performance across your portfolio and identify growth levers within live partnerships spanning across new products, deeper data integrations, and expanded customer segments
  • Partner with various internal and external stakeholders on the partnerships capabilities roadmap, defining what Tala needs to build to support embedded lending at scale (APIs, partner-facing tooling, configurable credit modules, on-chain lending infrastructure) and and drive this in close collaboration with core product, engineering, and data science teams
  • Contribute to Tala’s Partnerships product strategy: how the embedded lending product evolves, what partner-facing capabilities need to be built, and how risk signals compounds in value as the ecosystem grows

  • What You'll Need
  • 8-12+ years in product management, with a strong track record in fintech or embedded finance in emerging markets; experience with externally-integrated or partnership-dependent products is essential
  • Strong credit product instincts. Ability to assess whether a partner flow supports a specific product, design the right configuration, and write specs that engineering and risk can execute against
  • Deep understanding of digital money flows in emerging markets and the credit products that map to them: BNPL, earned wage access, revenue-based advances, remittance bridges, and stablecoin-denominated credit
  • Fluency with crypto and stablecoin product structures, including on-chain lending mechanics, USDC-denominated credit flows, and stablecoin corridor dynamics
