Position: IT Support Specialist
Arena Staffing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Support Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Install and configure computer systems and software
- Set up and maintain user accounts and permissions
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks
- Perform regular backups and data recovery
- Assist with the implementation of new technology and software
- Train employees on basic computer and software usage
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary equipment and supplies
- Maintain documentation and records of technical issues and resolutions
- Collaborate with other IT team members to improve processes and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
- Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems
- Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- IT certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) a plus
