Senior Palantir Foundry Engineer - Data Pipelines & Ontology

Job Description

We are looking for experienced Palantir Foundry Engineers to support a large-scale healthcare data implementation. This is a full-time, dedicated, long-term remote role for engineers based in the United States, with occasional onsite travel for key workshops in the Chicago or Houston area.

The project involves accelerating a Palantir Foundry implementation across complex healthcare data environments, including clinical, claims, supply chain, and other enterprise data sources. The engineers will help build data pipelines, support rapid data onboarding, and contribute to ontology design and modeling within Foundry.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines into Palantir Foundry.
• Integrate multiple healthcare data sources, including clinical, claims, supply chain, and other enterprise datasets.
• Support rapid data onboarding to accelerate ontology development and population.
• Design, build, and refine ontology objects, properties, relationships, and data mappings in Palantir Foundry.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data and ontology structures.
• Support ontology governance, versioning, and best practices.
• Work across Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, data integration workflows, and Foundry-based modeling efforts.
• Contribute to a fast-moving implementation environment where rapid iteration and practical delivery are required.

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on Palantir Foundry experience.
• Strong experience with Palantir Foundry Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, and data integration.
• Strong Python, PySpark, and SQL skills.
• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines in complex enterprise data environments.
• Hands-on experience with ontology architecture, ontology modeling, data mapping, and ontology design patterns.

• Strong data modeling skills.
• Experience working with complex healthcare, clinical, claims, supply chain, or regulated-industry data.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for key onsite workshops in the Chicago or Houston area.

Nice to Have

• Palantir AIP experience.
• Prior experience with ontology acceleration projects, including auto-discovery or rapid ontology population.
• Healthcare industry experience.
• Experience working in regulated environments.
