Product Owner

Job Description

Jalasoft is seeking a motivated and experienced Product Owner to lead the vision and execution of our software products. As a Product Owner, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize backlog items, and deliver valuable solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation to ensure a successful product lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner within software development.
• Partner with our full-time Product Managers to deeply understand epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and UI/UX intent.
• Serve as the day-to-day product voice for contractor engineering teams, clarifying requirements and resolving ambiguity quickly.
• Attend standups, sprint planning, and reviews to keep development aligned with product intent.
• Flag scope drift, blockers, or misalignment early and escalate appropriately.
• Review delivered work against acceptance criteria before it moves forward.
