About the Role


The Director of Marketing is a strategic leadership role responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth across a portfolio of IVD solutions. This position will lead a team spanning marketing, product, data, and communications, while partnering closely with sales and cross-functional teams to align on go-to-market strategy and commercial objectives.

Key responsibilities include leading product positioning and messaging, driving go-to-market strategies for new and existing products, and developing pricing and market strategies based on data-driven insights. The Director will also play a critical role in voice-of-customer initiatives, competitive intelligence, and customer experience strategy, ensuring alignment between market needs and business objectives.

This role offers flexibility to be based anywhere in the Central or Eastern United States and requires up to 50% travel.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • 8–10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 6 years in leadership or product management roles
  • Prior experience within the IVD, diagnostics, or laboratory space strongly preferred
  • Proven success in product marketing, go-to-market strategy, pricing, and market analysis
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience partnering closely with sales leadership
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing external vendors/agencies
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics), analytics tools (PowerBI), and customer insight platforms (Qualtrics)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy
  • Ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
