Software Engineer II - Salesforce (Contract)

Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a Salesforce Developer with strong hands-on experience in Apex development to support ongoing application development and enhancements on a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate should be able to quickly ramp up, work independently, and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Design, develop, and implement solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce configurations.
• Enhance and maintain existing Salesforce applications based on business requirements.
• Work with api-driven integrations and knowledge of various Salesforce APIs.
• Work with Salesforce managed/unmanaged packages, including customization and extensions where applicable.
• Assist customers with installation, setup, and configuration of Salesforce packages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver within timelines.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide quick resolutions specially with managed packages.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, code quality, and Salesforce governor limits.
• Support deployment activities and ensure smooth releases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development.
• Strong expertise in Apex (triggers, classes, asynchronous processing).
• Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Good understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and sharing mechanisms.
• Experience in REST/SOAP API integrations.
• Ability to quickly understand existing systems and contribute with minimal onboarding.

Nice to have

• 4+ years of experience Salesforce certifications (eg, Platform Developer I/II).
• Experience with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior experience working in short-term or contract-based roles.

Engagement details

• Duration: 3 months (extendable based on performance and project needs).
• Immediate joiners preferred.
• Must be available to work in IST (Indian Standard Time) timezone.
