As the Business Operations Specialist, you will work cross-functionally across the entire organization to own, define, and drive strategic projects that support our revenue growth. You are someone who surrounds themselves with data and loves digging into processes and technology to understand where improvements can be made. In this role, your primary focus area will be Marketing Operations, where you will be responsible for executing email marketing campaigns and supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the Marketing team within Marketo.

What you'll do:

  • Own and execute operational programs and process improvements that increase productivity, consistency, and effectiveness across the business.
  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through implementation, measurement, and communication of business impact.
  • Build, maintain, and evolve reporting and dashboards that support both frontline execution and leadership decision-making.
  • Partner with Enablement and functional stakeholders to ensure tools, documentation, training, and communications support successful rollout and adoption of operational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Business Operations and Business Systems partners to manage and improve core systems and the surrounding technology ecosystem.
  • Act as a trusted operational partner to stakeholders across multiple business units by aligning priorities, removing blockers, and driving initiatives forward.
  • Identify opportunities to centralize, automate, or standardize workflows to reduce manual effort and improve end-to-end experiences.
  • Enable adoption of tools and processes through clear documentation, user support, and feedback loops.
  • Monitor operational health through dashboards and exception reporting, identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.Contribute to the effectiveness of the Operations team by modeling strong execution, collaboration, and accountability.

About you:

  • 2+ years of experience in business operations, functional operations (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Partner, Delivery, or Customer Success Ops), or a related role.
  • Hands-on experience with Marketo for email campaign execution, program setup, and list management.
  • Experience working with core business systems (e.g., CRM, workflow, analytics, or automation platforms).
  • Demonstrated ability to independently own operational workflows or initiatives end-to-end.
  • Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and manage competing priorities.
  • Clear, effective communicator with experience presenting, facilitating discussions, and using consultative questioning.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives in parallel.
  • Curious, proactive, and willing to challenge existing processes in service of better outcomes.
  • Comfortable learning new domains and asking questions to accelerate understanding.
  • Collaborative team player who supports peers and contributes positively to team culture.
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging automation, AI, or tooling to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive operational efficiency.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools for managing requests and tracking deliverables.
  • Experience supporting high-velocity or complex operational environments.
  • Familiarity with performance metrics across customer-facing or internal teams.
  • Experience designing or maintaining automated workflows or system integrations.
  • Exposure to modern business systems such as CRM, marketing automation, support platforms, analytics tools, or collaboration software.
  • Relevant certifications or equivalent hands-on experience (e.g., Marketa Certified Associate or Expert).
