Senior UX/UI Designer (eCommerce)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who is passionate about crafting thoughtful, data-driven, and user-centric digital experiences.

This role goes beyond execution—you’ll play a key part in shaping what we build and why. You’ll ground design decisions in customer insights, experimentation, and measurable business impact.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Product & UX/UI, you’ll own the end-to-end design process—from defining research strategy to delivering polished UI and developer-ready handoffs. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to drive innovation and elevate the overall digital experience.

What You’ll Do

Drive Best-in-Class eCommerce Experiences

• Stay ahead of eCommerce trends, competitor strategies, and platform innovations
• Identify opportunities to continuously improve the digital customer experience

Own Research Strategy (Not Just Execution)

• Translate product roadmaps into clear research plans
• Identify knowledge gaps and define hypotheses
• Lead qualitative and quantitative user research initiatives

Design with Data & Experimentation

• Partner with Product and Engineering to validate ideas through A/B testing
• Use insights to iterate and optimize user experiences
• Leverage tools like Shoplift (or similar experimentation platforms)

Leverage AI in Design Workflows

• Use AI tools to accelerate ideation, research synthesis, and prototyping
• Maintain high-quality outputs while increasing speed and efficiency

Deliver End-to-End UX/UI Design

• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
• Translate business goals and user needs into intuitive designs

Continuously Optimize Performance

• Audit and improve website experiences to reduce friction and increase conversion
• Drive ongoing improvements across the customer journey

Collaborate Cross-Functionally

• Work with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Brand teams
• Ensure designs are feasible, scalable, and aligned with business goals

Design for Scale

• Contribute to and evolve the design system in Figma
• Ensure consistency, reusability, and efficiency across components

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI or Product Design (preferably in eCommerce)
• Proven experience owning research strategies tied to product or business goals
• Strong background in A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
• Proficiency in Figma (wireframing, prototyping, component systems)
• Experience with Shopify (Liquid) or similar eCommerce platforms is a plus
• Experience working with in-house development teams and delivering handoffs
• Strong understanding of responsive, mobile-first design
• Experience building and maintaining design systems
• Familiarity with AI tools for design/research workflows
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS is a plus
• Understanding of accessibility best practices
