Job Description

Position Overview

This role leads Agiloft’s core legal practices across commercial and product domains, enabling the business to move faster while maintaining sound risk judgment. The Associate General Counsel partners closely with executive leadership, product, and legal operations to embed legal guidance directly into decision-making and product development.

This role shapes how legal work is delivered by building scalable, AI-enabled systems that convert repeatable work into structured frameworks, improving speed, consistency, and insight. It plays a central role in aligning legal strategy with business growth, ensuring legal is not a downstream reviewer but an integrated partner.

Key areas of impact include commercial contracting strategy, product and AI counseling, legal-enabled risk frameworks, and the development of a high-performing legal team. The role also contributes to enterprise-level decision-making, engaging directly with executive leadership and the Board.

Over time, success is reflected in increased leverage of the legal function, faster cycle times on repeatable work, deeper integration with product and commercial teams, and measurable evolution of legal workflows through AI enablement.
