Job Title:  Senior Digital Marketing Operations Manager

Job Type: Full-time (Remote)

Compensation: Up to AUD 3,500 per month (depending on experience)

Work Schedule: Full-time | Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)

Experience: 8+ years of relevant marketing, project management, and operations experience

The client is a creative and marketing agency that helps businesses improve their marketing, branding, and digital performance through strategic campaigns, digital advertising, and operational efficiency. They work with various clients across different industries and focus on delivering high-quality marketing services while maintaining efficient internal processes and strong project management practices.

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Digital Marketing Operations Manager to support the coordination and oversight of marketing projects, accounts, and operational workflows. This role is diverse and will work closely with the leadership team to help ensure projects run smoothly, processes remain efficient, and internal systems support the agency's growing client base.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in working within marketing or creative agencies for Western markets. They should be comfortable managing multiple projects, have experience optimising campaigns across full service digital marketing agencies, coordinating with different stakeholders, and continuously improving operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the management and coordination of marketing projects and client accounts
  • Assist with project planning, timelines, and workflow management across marketing initiatives
  • Work alongside senior leadership to oversee operational processes and ensure smooth project delivery
  • Help administer, document, and refine internal processes to improve efficiency
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure tasks and deliverables are completed on schedule
  • Assist in monitoring project progress and reporting updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Contribute to improving project management systems and operational frameworks
  • Support marketing initiatives related to SEO, paid ads (Google, Meta), and social media campaigns when required

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, or agency operations
  • Experience working in a marketing agency or creative agency environment in AU/US/UK or similar market
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing including SEO, paid ads, email marketing and social media platforms
  • Experience managing internal creative and marketing projects end-to-end
  • Strong organisational, planning, and project coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and multi-channel digital marketing campaigns simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to balance creative thinking with operational execution
  • Strong understanding of UX and digital user journeys
  • Keen interest or experience in optimising processes using AI tools, automations and workflows

Work Arrangement & Expectations:

  • Fully remote role aligning with Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)
  • Full-time engagement
  • Daily collaboration using tools such as Google Workspace, Basecamp, Slack, and Google Meet
  • Work with marketing and operations teams to coordinate projects and maintain internal workflows
  • Use marketing and automation tools such as ActiveCampaign, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other marketing platforms
  • The client is looking for someone who communicates clearly, demonstrates initiative, and can take ownership of projects and operational improvements.
