Job Description

We are looking for a high-impact Legal Operations & Contracts Manager (or experienced Paralegal/Legal Project Manager) to help us build and scale Spreetail’s legal infrastructure. This isn't just about managing files; it’s about owning critical workstreams, maintaining corporate hygiene, and driving the velocity of our entire legal team. If you are a builder who thrives in high-growth environments and can transition seamlessly from entity management to complex contract lifecycles, we want to hear from you.

How you will achieve success:
  • Build Scalable Infrastructure: Develop organized repositories and repeatable processes that accelerate team velocity and allow us to move faster and more effectively.
  • Master Corporate Hygiene: Maintain impeccable corporate records, manage virtual data rooms, and ensure accurate disclosure schedules to support transactions and due diligence.
  • Own Contract Administration: Lead the full contract lifecycle (CLM), from managing templates and coordinating signatures to tracking renewal calendars and preventing lapses.
  • Drive Compliance & Remediation: Proactively identify compliance gaps, analyze their impact, and lead remediation projects independently.
  • Manage Entity & Legal Ops: Ensure smooth corporate maintenance (state filings, registrations), handle service of process, and manage legal invoicing and insurance claims.
  • Support Litigation: Act as a responsive partner in gathering documents and information for disputes, investigations, and legal holds.
  • Drive Transaction Excellence: Serve as the engine for corporate transactions and M&A by managing,  drafting accurate disclosure schedules, coordinating closing checklists/signatures, and ensuring post-closing integration tasks are completed.

  • What experiences will help you in this role:
  • Experience: 7+ years as a Paralegal, Contracts Manager, or Legal Projects Manager at an Am Law 100 law firm, public company, or high-growth private company.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ownership: Demonstrated ability to own workstreams with limited supervision, utilizing independent judgment, prioritization, and initiative.
  • Agility: Ability to reprioritize quickly as business needs shift while maintaining a high bar for accuracy and detail.
  • Cross-Functional Savvy: Experience coordinating across functions (Finance, People, Ops) to drive results.
