The IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing enterprise data programs that have regulatory, governance, or compliance implications and ensuring those programs transition into sustainable, well‑run business‑as‑usual operations. 

This role provides program‑level oversight, governance leadership, and operational direction across multiple data initiatives. The role also partners closely with leadership, data teams, and delivery organizations to improve execution maturity, transparency, and outcomes.  They are a Swiss Army Knife, knowing project delivery and SAFe delivery to help deliver our operation team initiatives.

Key Responsibilities.

Data Program Oversight & Execution

  • Provide oversight for enterprise data programs, particularly those driven by regulatory, governance, or compliance requirements
  • Maintain visibility into program progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines
  • Partner with delivery teams to remove blockers, drive execution, and ensure commitments are met
  • Ensure programs transition smoothly from delivery into long‑term operational ownership

Business‑as‑Usual (BAU) Operations

  • Define and document roles, responsibilities, and ownership models required for steady‑state governance and operations
  • Ensure BAU activities tied to regulatory and governance programs are clearly owned, tracked, and executed
  • Own or oversee the management and maintenance of governance‑related data and tools

Team Structure & Delivery Model Cataloging

  • Catalog existing data team structures, delivery models, and ways of working
  • Assess effectiveness and alignment to enterprise delivery standards
  • Communicate current‑state and future‑state delivery and operating models to stakeholders

Requirements

  • 3 – 4+ years of experience in related roles
  • Experience in Agile methodology (SAFe) or equivalent
