About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to help design and build scalable systems that power our products and platform.

In this role, you will contribute to architectural decisions, lead key technical initiatives, and collaborate closely with product and design teams to deliver high-impact features. You’ll work across the stack, help improve engineering practices, and support the growth of other engineers while solving meaningful technical challenges at scale.

What you'll do:

  • Design and build scalable web applications using modern backend and frontend technologies (e.g., Rails, Node.js, React, or similar frameworks)
  • Develop and maintain APIs and backend services that support product functionality
  • Build reusable frontend components and contribute to shared UI libraries
  • Improve and modernize existing systems to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Mentor engineers and support the professional growth of teammates
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making
  • Support reliable deployments by debugging issues and collaborating with DevOps and QA teams
  • Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives
  • Contribute to improving engineering standards, tooling, and development practices

About you:

  • Strong experience designing and building production web applications
  • Experience working across both frontend and backend systems
  • Experience with modern web frameworks (such as Rails, Node.js, React, or similar technologies)
  • Experience building APIs and backend services
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and maintainable system architecture
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical guidance
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively with distributed teams
  • Preferred location: Brno, Czech Republic

Nice to have:

  • Experience building scalable Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications
  • Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or similar
  • Experience with backend frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or similar
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, or performance tuning
  • Experience working with experimentation or analytics tools
