Designer- (Apparel and cosmetics)

Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly creative Designer with experience in apparel, cosmetics, and lifestyle branding. This role requires someone who blends traditional design expertise with AI‑driven creative tools to accelerate concept development, product visualization, and marketing content creation. The ideal candidate understands trends, aesthetics, and brand storytelling across fashion and beauty.

Key Responsibilities

• Creative Design & Concept Development
• Develop original apparel and cosmetic product concepts, including sketches, mood boards, color palettes, and packaging ideas.
• Create detailed technical drawings, print designs, and digital renderings.
• Translate brand identity into cohesive visual concepts across product categories.
• AI‑Enhanced Design & Innovation
• Use AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, DALL·E, Figma AI, Clo3D AI features) to:
• Generate design variations and rapid prototypes.
• Support trend forecasting and consumer insight analysis.
• Enhance visual storytelling and presentation materials.
• Integrate AI outputs into traditional design workflows while maintaining brand consistency.
• Apparel & Beauty Product Expertise
• Design apparel silhouettes, trims, prints, and embellishments aligned with seasonal trends.
• Create cosmetic packaging concepts, product aesthetics, and merchandising visuals.
• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure feasibility and production readiness.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration
• Partner with marketing, sourcing, and production teams to bring concepts to market.
• Participate in fit sessions, sample reviews, and design refinements.
• Present design concepts to internal stakeholders and external partners

Requirements

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
• 2–5+ years of experience in apparel, cosmetics, or lifestyle product design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating apparel and/or beauty design work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑based design tools and a willingness to adopt emerging technologies.

Preferred

• Experience with 3D design tools (Clo3D, Blender, Rhino, etc.).
• Knowledge of packaging design, materials, and production processes.
• Familiarity with trend forecasting platforms (WGSN, Trendalytics).
• Strong visual communication and presentation skills.
