Social Media Manager for DTC Company (US-Based, Remote)

We are looking for a high-performance Social Media Manager to take full ownership of organic strategy, athlete integration, content velocity, and Manychat conversion infrastructure. This is not a posting role. This is a revenue ownership role.

Our paid channel is efficient. Our athlete roster is strong. What we need is structure, velocity, and measurable revenue contribution from organic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Execution •
    • Develop and execute a repeatable, scalable content engine
    • Conduct viral strategy audits across comparable brands
    • Extract repeatable formats, hook structures, and engagement patterns
    • Build Figma boards to present and align on content direction
  • Content Production
    • Manage daily publishing cadence
    • Oversee creator and UGC pipeline
    • Optimize hooks, retention, and storytelling
    • Test one new experimental content format weekly
  • Conversion Infrastructure
    • Build and optimize Manychat keyword flows
    • Set up auto-DMs tied to Reel CTAs
    • Segment users by product interest
    • Track revenue impact from organic and retention efforts
  • Athlete Integration
    • Ensure athletes are aligned to clear KPI buckets
    • Improve content output and monetization structure
    • Track whitelisting results and measurable ROI
  • Reporting + Accountability
    • Maintain weekly KPI spreadsheet
    • Report performance during executive meetings
    • Propose

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing organic social for a DTC/eCommerce brand
  • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable revenue growth from organic channels
  • Strong understanding of DTC metrics (ROAS, CAC, LTV, AOV, revenue attribution)
  • Experience building and optimizing Manychat flows and DM automation
  • Ability to create and execute a high-volume content strategy (Reels + TikTok)
  • Proven track record of achieving viral content performance (50K+ views posts)
  • Experience managing and optimizing influencer/athlete/creator partnerships
  • Ability to categorize and track creators based on performance KPIs
  • Experience setting up conversion-driven broadcasts and retention sequences
  • Skilled in running growth experiments and content testing frameworks
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to maintain weekly KPI reporting
  • Comfortable presenting performance results in executive-level meetings
  • High ownership mindset with ability to work independently (single role accountability)
  • Experience building structured content plans using tools like Figma or similar
