Sword Health

Senior Social Media Manager, Consumer

Job Description

We are looking for a high-energy, creative Senior Social Media Manager to build our brand’s social presence from the ground up. As we prepare to launch our new direct-to-consumer mental health app, you will be the voice of our brand, responsible for turning our mission into a viral, community-driven movement.
This isn't a "social-as-usual" role. You are an AI-fluent, data-oriented strategist who lives at the intersection of product and content. You will leverage social platforms as a primary lever for user acquisition, trust-building, and organic growth. We need a storyteller who understands the data, a creator who moves at the speed of trends, and a community builder who can navigate sensitive mental health topics with empathy, flair, and clinical safety in mind.

The consumer team is a newly formed team that is building the future of D2C mental health from scratch. The team is a lean, fast-moving team tasked with taking our newest product from stealth to launch within the next few months. We’re currently in the 'pre-launch' phase, looking for builders who thrive in ambiguity and want the autonomy to help drive growth for the product from day zero.

What you’ll be doing:
  • 0→1 Social Strategy: Design and execute the launch playbook across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging platforms to build a footprint from scratch.
  • Content Alchemy: Create high-value, native content and narratives that don't just "sell," but provide genuine psychological value to our audience.
  • Growth & Performance: Treat social as a growth engine. Partner with the growth product team to drive highly engaging and viral user experiences that tie back to our mental health products
  • Influencer Ecosystem: Build and manage a network of micro-influencers and creators to amplify our voice, ensuring all partnerships feel authentic and mission-aligned.
  • AI-Powered Execution: Use AI tools for rapid content ideation, video editing, and sentiment analysis to maintain a high-volume presence without a massive agency budget.
  • Community Architecture: Spark and moderate meaningful conversations, turning followers into a supportive, loyal community.

  • What you need to have:
  • Experience: 4+ years in Social Media or Content Marketing, with a proven track record in the B2C tech, wellness, or healthcare space.
  • Creator Skills: You are a "preditor" (producer/editor). You can script, shoot, and edit high-performing short-form video content independently.
  • Master of Short-Form Content: You know how to hook an audience in the first 3 seconds of a TikTok or Reel. You are comfortable being both behind and (occasionally) in front of the camera.
  • Data Fluency: You don't just report on "likes." but rather have an analytical mindset to analyze the content to understand what drives performance and why.
  • Strategic Empathy: You have the nuance to talk about mental health in a way that is engaging but responsible and credible.
  • 0-1 Mindset: You thrive in the "building phase"—you are comfortable setting up the accounts, defining the aesthetic, and shipping your first post on day one.
  • AI-Forward: You are already using AI to 10x your output, from scripting to visual assets.
  • Visual Taste: A strong eye for design and trends. You can work with designers but also use tools like Canva or CapCut to ship high-quality assets independently.

  • To ensure you feel good solving a big Human problem, we offer:
  • A stimulating, fast-paced environment with lots of room for creativity.
  • A bright future at a promising high-tech startup company.
  • Career development and growth, with a competitive salary.
  • The opportunity to work with a talented team and to add real value to an innovative solution with the potential to change the future of healthcare.
  • A flexible environment where you can control your hours (remotely) with unlimited vacation.
  • Access to our health and well-being program (digital therapist sessions).
  • Remote or Hybrid work policy.
