About the Role

The Team Leader of Channel Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market reach through the company's network of channel partners. This role involves developing and executing strategies that enhance partner relationships, ensure alignment with company objectives, and support partners in driving sales of the company's products and services. The Team Leader of Channel Sales will also play a key role in setting and meeting sales targets, managing partner performance, and ensuring effective communication between internal teams and external partners.



Key Responsibilities: Strategy & Execution
  • Contribute to the development and execution of channel sales strategies to drive revenue and market share growth across India
  • Collaborate with sales management to ensure team activities are aligned with channel sales goals and broader corporate objectives.
  • Facilitate the setting of sales targets for channel partners and work alongside them to create action plans to meet or exceed goals.
  • Identify and suggest optimizations for channel sales processes and partner programs to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Mentorship
  • Lead and motivate a team of channel sales professionals day-to-day to achieve departmental sales goals.
  • Provide on-the-job coaching, mentorship, and peer support to team members to help them refine their skills and progress in their roles.
  • Provide consistent constructive feedback and assist in tracking individual progress toward development goals (supporting the Manager in formal reviews).
  • Coordinate team resources to ensure members have the tools, training, and day-to-day support necessary to succeed.

  • Key Responsibilities: Partner Enablement & Relationships
  • Cultivate strong, trusted relationships with key channel partners, acting as a primary point of escalation and support.
  • Liaise with internal teams (product, marketing, customer support) to help deliver effective partner enablement programs and sales tools.
  • Consult with partners to help them develop sales strategies and marketing plans that drive product adoption and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate co-branded marketing materials, campaigns, and events.

  • Key Responsibilities: Analysis & Reporting
  • Monitor partner sales performance, pipeline, and activities to track progress against KPIs and business objectives.
  • Gather and synthesize insights from partners and customers to provide actionable feedback to product and marketing teams.
  • Prepare regular updates for management regarding channel sales performance, challenges, and potential opportunities.

  • You have:
  • 4+ years of experience in channel sales, business development, or partner management, with at least 1 year in a leadership role or similar team leading position.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth through channel partners.
  • Experience managing and motivating sales teams, as well as external partners and resellers.
  • Strong understanding of channel sales dynamics and partner ecosystems in India market.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
