Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven, mid-level Marketing Manager to take full ownership of email and SMS marketing strategy, execution, and performance, while confidently planning and managing the broader marketing calendar.

This role is ideal for a hands-on builder and strategic thinker who thrives on both creative execution and data-driven optimization. You will be responsible for delivering thoughtful, conversion-focused campaigns that drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth across the customer lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Email & SMS Marketing Ownership

  • Plan, write, design, schedule, and optimize all email and SMS campaigns end-to-end
  • Manage audience segmentation, lifecycle flows, automations, and promotional sends
  • Conduct ongoing A/B testing on subject lines, creative, messaging, and timing
  • Ensure deliverability best practices and compliance standards are maintained

Marketing Calendar & Campaign Planning

  • Build and maintain monthly, quarterly, and seasonal marketing calendars
  • Develop campaign concepts aligned with product launches, promotions, and key retail moments
  • Coordinate cross-channel execution to ensure timely and consistent campaign delivery

Creative & Copy Execution

  • Write clear, compelling, conversion-focused marketing copy
  • Produce basic campaign visuals or collaborate with designers when needed
  • Translate marketing strategy into clear, executable creative direction

Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Monitor key KPIs including open rates, CTR, conversions, and revenue attribution
  • Analyze campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities
  • Provide regular reporting, insights, and actionable recommendations
  • Maintain strong operational discipline and documentation

Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing
  • Proven ownership of email and SMS marketing programs
  • Experience building and managing marketing calendars and campaigns
  • Strong copywriting skills with a focus on conversion-driven messaging
  • Solid understanding of segmentation, customer journeys, and lifecycle marketing
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Hands-on experience with email/SMS marketing platforms and automation tools
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and performance analytics
  • Basic design skills or ability to collaborate effectively with creative teams
  • Experience in e-commerce, DTC, or high-growth environments
  • Knowledge of customer retention strategies and lifecycle marketing frameworks
  • Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional teams
