Job Description

Sarmad is searching for a Fintech Senior UX Designer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing user-centered experiences for our fintech products. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and create engaging, effective, and intuitive design solutions. Your expertise will help shape the user experience and drive the success of our products in the competitive financial technology landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and understand user needs.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement user flows, information architecture, and UI aesthetics.
  • Design user-centered interfaces that align with the overall product strategy and business goals.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other designers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX design and fintech.
  • Mentor junior designers and share knowledge to foster a collaborative and innovative design environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in UX design, preferably in the fintech or financial services sector.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions and successful project outcomes.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of usability principles, user research methodologies, and design best practices.
  • Excellent visual design skills with an understanding of typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in creating accessible designs that meet WCAG standards is a plus.
