Job Title: Dental Practice Support Specialist

Position type: Part-Time

Work hours: 8:00 AM -12:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, Monday - Friday

Salary: $5-$8 per hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls from marketing and advertising leads
  • Respond to Instagram and Facebook inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct virtual consultations with prospective patients
  • Educate patients on cosmetic and dental procedures, services, and treatment options
  • Discuss pricing confidently and provide accurate treatment estimates
  • Convert leads into scheduled appointments through effective communication and follow-up
  • Document and follow up on missed calls and pending inquiries
  • Schedule appointments using Oryx (or similar scheduling/EHR system)
  • Manage and maintain the provider’s schedule based on workflow preferences
  • Send pre-visit forms and ensure completion prior to appointments
  • Enter and update patient insurance information accurately
  • Maintain detailed notes in patient records
  • Ensure smooth coordination between patients and clinical staff
  • Follow up with social media leads from Instagram and Facebook
  • Post before-and-after treatment content (in compliance with practice guidelines)
  • Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages
  • Create and manage social media content using Canva

Requirements

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year prior experience working in a U.S. dental office (required)
  • Strong verbal communication skills with a clear, professional tone
  • Minimal accent and easy to understand over the phone
  • Confident discussing pricing and presenting treatment estimates
  • Strong sales ability with proven lead conversion experience
  • Experience handling high-touch or demanding cosmetic patients
  • Knowledge of dental and cosmetic procedures and terminology
  • Familiarity with Oryx or similar scheduling/EHR systems
  • Experience with Instagram, Facebook, and Canva
  • Proficient with computers and able to quickly learn new systems

Basic requirements

  • Must be proficient in speaking and writing English very clearly
  • Must have relevant work experience
  • Be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding [mandatory]
  • Must be available for video meetings with your camera on (when needed)

  • Device: Reliable laptop or desktop computer.
  • Internet: High-speed connection (minimum 10 Mbps).
  • Audio: Noise-canceling headset.
  • Video: Webcam for virtual meetings.
  • Workspace: Quiet, professional environment.
