Job Description

We’re looking for an Account Manager to own the full client fulfillment experience for a high-touch matchmaking service. This is not a sales role. It is an execution and relationship management role focused on delivering consistent, high-quality matches while maintaining strong client communication and satisfaction.

You will manage active clients end to end, track preferences and cadence, research potential matches, and ensure each customer receives timely outreach and thoughtful follow-up. This role blends customer experience, structured research, emotional intelligence, and operational discipline.

If you are highly organized, strong in written communication, comfortable using AI tools for research, and confident managing multiple client journeys at once, this role is a strong fit.

What You’ll Work On

Account Management and Client Experience

  • Own client satisfaction from onboarding through successful match outcomes
  • Maintain detailed tracking of client plans, cadence, preferences, and match history
  • Ensure profiles are delivered on time based on each client’s package
  • Send regular check-ins and feedback surveys
  • Proactively address concerns before they escalate
  • Update client profiles as preferences evolve

Matchmaking and Research

  • Conduct in-depth research on potential matches for active clients
  • Create shortlists of high-caliber matches using AI tools such as Claude
  • Assess compatibility and alignment beyond surface-level criteria
  • Send curated profiles to clients in the founder’s voice via messaging platforms
  • Send feelers to potential matches to confirm interest and availability
  • Refine match criteria based on feedback and outcomes

Process and Systems Improvement

  • Help refine and document matchmaking SOPs
  • Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks in the client journey
  • Maintain readiness checklists for active customers
  • Track match outcomes including scheduled dates and feedback
  • Support creation of dashboards to monitor performance metrics

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in account management, client success, operations, or service delivery roles
  • Strong written English with the ability to communicate in a consistent brand voice
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar for research and analysis
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
  • High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal judgment
  • Ability to manage multiple active clients simultaneously
  • Self-directed work style with strong ownership
  • Availability to respond to some client communication during evening hours EST when needed

Nice to Have

  • Experience in matchmaking, recruiting, talent research, or high-touch client services
  • Experience building SOPs or improving operational workflows
  • Experience tracking performance metrics or maintaining dashboards
  • Background in relationship-driven or service-based businesses
